Nutrition- supporting your family

At Chiro Connect we believe that healthy insides are essential for a healthy mind, body and nervous system. As such, as part of your assessment here at Chiro Connect we check your gut and organ health using kinesiology techniques.

We use kinesiology test kits and protocols to check* for food intolerances, gut health, inflammation, organ function and basic immune health.

As well as encouraging and promoting healthy eating practices, we also understand that sometimes people need a little support. You could look at this the same way you do with your body- movement and exercise are essential for good health, and sometimes, with life stresses, we need a little extra help from our Chiropractor.

Some of the most commonly recommended and required supplements include:

  • Probiotics (including baby-specific ones which are great post-C-section)

  • Magnesium (for stress management as well as muscles cramps!)

  • Fish oils and glucosamine (for joint and brain health)

  • Vitamin D (important for bone, nervous system and immune health)

  • Mushroom complexes (which are amazing for fighting viruses)

(My family use all of these supplements on a daily basis, so we know they’re great)

We prescribe health supplements where appropriate. The advice is individual for each client, and as such, we offer a prescription based order system.

Metagenics offer an online self-order system, where we are able to load your prescription to your individual client login. This means you can order prescribed items yourself- getting them delivered directly to your home. Talk with us about health supplements if this is of interest to you, and we can set you up with your own Metagenics login if appropriate.

Chiro Connect also works with companies such as Thorne and Nordic Naturals, though these brands will need to be ordered through Chiro Connect directly.
