Hello there! I arrived here in Wanaka in 2013, after practicing  in Scotand and Australia for 8 years. I graduated the 5-year full-time Chiropractic degree in Australia, at RMIT, Melbourne in 2005.

I love working with families, and the challenge presented by the professional athletes here in Wanaka.

I have a special interest in children with learning difficulties (and adults as well!). In fact, I had a large multidisciplinary practice just north of Brisbane, where around half my clients there were under 12 years old, and a lot of those children we worked with were kids with learning and behavioural difficulties.

I am lucky enough that Chiropractic Care is my hobby as well as my work. One of the things that drives me with Chiropractic, is the ability to help people in restoring their balance, health, strength and vitality- all through improving your brain-body connection.

Working as holistically as possible, I combine physical and neurological care with nutrition and lifestyle advice where necessary. I also enjoy working in with other health professionals, creating a team to help you in finding the best version of yourself.

In my spare time, as well as learning more ways to help you through attending seminars, I spend time with my family, hike, camp, and travel. New experiences promote growth, and growth keeps us moving forward!

I look forward to meeting you, and your family, soon, to help you on your way to becoming the best versions of yourselves!

Bonjour! Originally from France, my chiropractic journey started when I was an exhausted, unfocused teenager and basketball player. Chiropractic allowed my body to function better, but more than that, all aspects of my life literally changed. Because chiropractic impacted my life and my family's life so amazingly, I decided to cross the world in order to graduate from the New Zealand College of Chiropractic.

I am amazed every day to observe the body’s ability to heal, organise and regulate itself through its nerve system. It is incredible to witness health functioning from the inside, and it is so empowering. I absolutely love working with determined people, to allow them to better achieve their goals and be more in harmony with themselves through chiropractic.

I have had the opportunity to check a wide range of patients. From a two- week-old poor sleeper new born with torticollis, to the athletes who want to improve their performance, to people with neurological disorders or chronic pain. All these unique experiences showed me that health is in all of us and everywhere. They made me be the chiropractor I am today. This is why I am so focused on delivering the best care to my patients by increasing spinal and neurological integrity and function.

When I am not in practice, I love being outside - trail running, ski touring and mountaineering. I have fallen in love with Wanaka, and I am looking forward to being part of your community, taking care of you, your family and friends to help you to achieve your goals!

Karen Woolley- Office manager and General Organiser

Karen was born on the North Shore in Auckland, where she has spent the majority of her life until she saw the light approximately 12 years ago.

While raising 2 children and working, Karen went back to school and managed to gain a Diploma in Therapeutic Massage. When the children were educated and left home, it was time for her and her husband Ralph to start their journey South. Initially, Karen and Ralph moved to Rotorua, where they spent 10 years. Even though Karen sees herself as a numbers person, her massage qualification took her to QE Health- a rehab centre for Arthritis and Chronic Pain. Here she spent 6 years managing the Spa and working with rehab clients using massage, mud and wax. She found this a very rewarding, privileged and fulfilling role to be able to work within the health sector.

2 years ago Karen and her husband decided it was time to move closer to family. They now live in Lake Hawea only a 15min drive away from their son and daughter-in-law.

They are both loving the Central Otago lifestyle, working, playing in and exploring our beautiful mountains. Karen and Ralph walk, play bowls and have recently joined the Lion's Club. Karen plans to get into biking, but will give skiing a miss. Karen joined Chiro Connect in 2018 as Office Manager, and enjoys working closely with Mel and Kate to enhance the smooth running of the practice.

Melissa Lane- Office Receptionist and all round 'Ideas Man'

Melissa grew up in Queenstown and spent almost 10 years living and working overseas. She was working hard with her husband to purchase a lifestyle property in Central Otago and move back home to be around friends and family.

She joined Chiro Connect in July 2016 and has been an excellent support to our team. Melissa has been an essential component of our team, supporting Kate, and keeping her supplied with chocolate.

She now enjoys a healthy lifestyle working in the district, and working around her home in her orchard and garden to produce more of her own food.

Fixing their home up takes up a lot of the weekends, but Melissa and her husband Gerald, along with their dogs Bonsai and Maggie, still find time for kayaking and hiking around our beautiful district.
